Case Study:
JelikaLite – Cognilum
Personalized Brain Stimulation Therapy for Autism in Children
Client Overview:

JelikaLite is at the forefront of developing Cognilum, an FDA Breakthrough Designation device. Cognilum offers a non-invasive brain stimulation therapy designed to improve the communication skills and overall quality of life for children with autism. By utilizing transcranial photobiomodulation, Cognilum targets mitochondria dysfunction in the brain, restoring energy balance and reducing inflammation. With a mission to offer a breakthrough in autism treatment, JelikaLite needed a way to visually communicate this complex technology to potential investors, healthcare professionals, and the public.

Challenge:

JelikaLite needed to convey the scientific impact of Cognilum in a way that was easily understood by diverse audiences. The challenge for Noah’s Arch Studios was to visually communicate the effects of photobiomodulation on the brain—showing changes in neuron size, shape, and color, and illustrating the transformation of dysfunctional mitochondria into healthy cells. This complex science had to be simplified into a brief, impactful animation without diving into overwhelming molecular details.
Storyboard, Mood board
Solution:

Noah’s Arch Studios worked closely with JelikaLite to understand the science behind Cognilum and created a concise yet powerful visual narrative. The animation depicted the mitochondrial repair process and the positive changes in neurons, making it clear how the device could improve brain function in children with autism. This precise visual storytelling effectively conveyed the science in a short format, maintaining accuracy while ensuring accessibility for non-specialist viewers.

Testimonial
"We worked with Maor to create a promotional video for our pediatric medical device. It was a rush job - as we needed to get it done on time for a very important trade show. This was the absolutely best experience that I have ever had working with a video production company. Maor was very professional, took the time to understand the science, took the time to understand the purpose of the video and our wishes, and took the time to understand the product. He was patient, he was thorough, and he did not mind the revisions. The resulting video was a huge success. It was played at the US pavilion at the Arab Health, and our company's booth was mobbed - as people who saw the video kept coming to learn more! I would recommend Maor's work to anyone who needs a professional science video created for their company.
